SUBC Engineering celebrating 6 Years of Success
SUBC Engineering celebrating 6 Years of Success!
This really is more of a Tribute to you our clients, suppliers, staff and everyone that has supported us over the last 6 years!
How did it all begin? Colin Burney, Managing Director of SUBC Engineering, saw an opportunity to start up the company providing Subsea Engineering personnel to Drilling Companies on a worldwide basis. Specialising in short term crew relief to complete project management of BOP (Blow Out Preventer) and control system upgrades, installation and commissioning. And, of course, everything in between.
SUBC then began a journey to build on their expertise and put together a series of Industrial Hydraulic and Subsea training courses Accredited by IADC (International Association of Drilling Contractors) and BFPA (British Fluid Power Association). Identifying a major skill gab in the industry has led to the development of a training centre offering a 4 day Hands-On Well Control Equipment course where 80% of the course is hands-on. In addition with new technology always at the forefront of the Oil and Gas industry SUBC developed a 4 day Managed Pressure Drilling course. Both courses are IADC accredited and we believe our MPD course is the only IADC accredited course on the market.
SUBC is a global company headquartered in Aberdeen but with a presence in Houston, Singapore and Brazil enabling us to service our clients globally at short notice.
Our Onshore & Offshore Staff without the commitment, dedication, reliability and professionalism SUBC would not be where it is today so a big thank you to all our employees past and present for making the company what it is today.
Why do we love what we do? There is something of a rush when a client is happy with a project we have completed on time and within budget or the positive feedback we have received from delegates attending one of our training schools.
Our advice to other companies starting out – be passionate, be creative but also be precise in your costing and planning and what the client needs. Always go the extra mile – you inevitably find them requesting your services time and time again.
Here’s to you, here’s to us … thank you to all our clients for the support you have given!
