Accumulator course receives IADC DIT and BFPA accreditations
SUBC Engineering Ltd continues to grow and expands its training services by adding Accumulator/Pulsation Dampener course to keep the company as the leading subsea training provider, which is now accredited by International Association of Drilling Contractors Drilling Industry Training (IADC DIT) and British Fluid Power Association (BFPA).
SUBC is very proactive and recognizes industry training needs, therefore, adds a new course to its current course portfolio. This Accumulator/Pulsation Dampener course is a hands-on introduction to the operation and application of High Pressure Accumulators undertaken in a workshop environment. The course content has a ratio of 70/30 practical and theory exercises. This course covers the topics such as, safety practices, repair, overhaul and inspection, different applications using hydraulic circuits and breakdown within the Oil Industry. The course is a mix of theory and practical exercises. Each delegate should expect to be asked around 3-4 spot questions throughout the day, which will be recorded and included in the final pass mark. Delegates are evaluated by means of an examination with a pass rate of 65% and above. At the end of the course the delegate will have to answer 10 general questions with a 20 minute timeline to complete.
